OUR GELATO

Creams means that gelato is produced mainly using milk, eggs and sugar.

This gelato is produced using milk and sugar as the basic ingredients.

They are produced using fresh fruit, sugar and water; they vary according to the seasons.

These flavours are obtained by adding to the gelato, at the end of its creaming, other ingredients such as creams, fruit jams, biscuits and cream puffs.

FLAVOURS: Peanuts, Cacao, Coffee Cream, Gianduia with Hazelnuts, Malaga, Almond, Mandorlato, Marron Glacè, Hazelnut, Walnut, Pistachio, Vanilla, White chocolate with hazelnuts.

FLAVOURS: Fiordilatte, Licorice, Mint, Ricotta, Stracciatella, Yogurt.

FLAVOURS: Apple, Coconut, Pineapple, Pomegranate, Watermelon, Orange, Banana, Persimmon, Fig, Elderflower, Strawberry, Kiwi, Raspberry, Lime, Lemon, Mandarin, Mango, Melon, Blueberry, Blackberry, Pear, Peach, Pink Grapefruit, Strawberry Grape, Dark Chocolate with candied orange.

As many of our customers already know, in our gelateria you will find only gelato; we don’t make any kind of specialties, semifreddi cakes or special cups. We want to concentrate and dedicate ourselves to a single product and offer it to the best. We propose just two classic additions to put on the top of our gelato, whipped cream and black cherries, as well as naturally cones and waffles.

GARDEN

In the back of our gelateria you can find a small and quiet green area equipped with benches where you can taste our gelato in comfort, away from traffic and admiring the nearby “Meschio River”.

The garden is open every day, except Thursday, from 14.00 to 22.00 and is closed in case of bad weather.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

In 1952, when Gasparre Polese decided to devote himself exclusively to the production of artisanal gelato and founded this gelateria, he began using simple and genuine ingredients.

 

Over time and with the enormous development of the industry, especially in the food industry, the ingredients available to the gelato maker multiplied, becoming much more elaborate and apparently simplifying the work.

 

The good Gasparre, however, strong of its stubbornness, refuses the “help” of the industry, continuing to make gelato in a natural and genuine way, using fresh and seasonal raw ingredients.

 

Even today this is the strength of our gelateria.
